Here she is.. A 2009 Ruck. Just picked her up a few days ago and time to start modding her. After a few years or snoopin aroudn multiple forums I decided to pick up a ruckus and have some fun zipping around downtown seattle. But I am happy I purchased a Ruck. This thing is pretty fun to play with. 8)

Here is how she sits.

I have picked up a few parts just waiting for them to arrive :)

9/20:
Today I lowered the seat. I didn't want to pay the money for say an NYC lower frame so i had a buddy help me DIY the lower seat frame. Turned out pretty well. The welds dont look pretty bt once i grind it all down it will look nice before paint :)

Marking where to Cut
Image

Time to actually but it up

Cutting and grinding:

Finally a snooth surface to weld it all back together:

Here is how the seat fits on. The welds are not pretty but they will do for now. I have some grinding to do before i send it off to paint. but for now i will just prime it just so it does not rust:

Best tip is to read everything on this site atleast twice. anything you can't figure out after that... Ask but be careful asking questions that are already all over this site.

Other than that, find a ride near you and meet some ruckers in your area that can help on installs. Hope that helps without being too general.

Thanks for the Tip! I use the Search button like none other! There are a ton of information just on this site so im sure it will not be to ahrd to find info on installs and what not.

as for the local guys, I have found a bunch in the surrounding seattle area but havent seen a thread on people who are downtown seattle yet. Im sure a little more snoopin' i will uncover the thread.

Just remember to not get all bent out of shape when people flame you for asking stupid questions..... most of them don't have anything better to do!!!

x2 on what xtra medium said..... read, read, and read some more cuz there is ALOT of answers on TR to most common questions.

Ditto to that, there's a wealth of knowledge on this site. Search first and if you can't find it then ask questions. Good start! :banger:
