I know Jordan kind of did this, but has anyone asked the Pacific Scooter guy how much he would charge for any of the engines he has laying around. Maybe from a scooter destroyed during shipping, or one he has on hand for repairs for scooters under warranty.

Buying a motor new starts at @ 300, And after you add the cost of electronics you might as well buy a donor. You'll know all your shit works together and you can test ride it before you buy so you'll know how much power it has and how well it ran before the swap(all goodthings to know for trouble shooting)

Yo peeps, I know everyone is darkside crazy but wanted to give a heads up so I wouldn't feel bad if someone wanted to go this route......getting ready to sell my big bore setup. Was running it before I went darkside. Probably would still be riding it if I didn't break head bolt and decided to go darkside.

I still need to replace the broken headbolt so consider this advance notification...Before I post it up in the sale thread thought I'd give local crew first option for easy plug n play setup.

Also please note like many of the other BB, I was having the over heating problems when I ran it past 9500 rpms. . I want no love lost between me n anyone so please please please note this. We finger torqued the headbolts and was hoping that setting them at the right torque would solve it but I broke the bolt before I found out.

For NWRA and PDX peeps it's packaged to include:

* Big Bore installed by Honda Tech
* PC20 Carb (jb weld job on that stupid rubber mount as it was cracking, see pic 3) + slider cable to work with stock brake levers
* NCY v2 extention mount
* Polini filter

Sorry, Yosh header pipe and bopper tire not included...

Everything you need to swap it in and run....

$450...$400 if you wanna replace the bolt yourself. Have proper titanium headbolts from Chanito included so you don't have to spend the $80 bucks or whatever he's asking now for them..

pm me if interested...

I was just wondering if someone had inquired :twisted:
I have heard a few stories of motorcycles being fucked up during shipping (fork lift through crate instead of under it) :wink:
I am sure he has gotten some damaged scooter, and it's not economical to send them back.

Almost all of his scooters come fucked up. He was telling me about it a few months ago. They come built and 'ready to ride' off the truck, but he has to spend a few hours on each bike just to get it to look somewhat decent and to get it to actually run. If you go in and look, he has a few scooters with broken fenders or speedo's etc, and a few of the cheap 50cc's won't even start.

By the way, he wanted to charge me $30 to drill out my exhaust bolt that was busted.

For those thinking about going dark side is there a list of US scooters that have a long case GY6? Or do you have to individually scope out each 150cc motor? It seems like there are a ton of different brands/names that manufacture or sell them.
