All parts, prices, and sales are now handled through my site @ www.mnnthbx.com It won't allow you to purchase anything that's out of stock, but within a week or so, inventory will be high accross the board. Thanks for checking it out. Here's the DORF (Down & Out Race Frame). All billet w/ stainless hardware. CNC machined w/ a brushed finish. Includes 10 billet fender washers. This is for sure, the lowest and farthest back bolt on frame availible. It's super comfy for every height rider we've put on it. Visability is fine w/ the Turtlehead. It's availible in gloss black powder, matte black, eco black (satin w/ fine texture), white, red, & raw. Know up front this is the highest quality seat frame availible. It is in no way cheap to produce, and any big shop would sell them for $350+. For reference, please take time to think of our price and the fact it's a lot of billet w/ long machine times and high finish work vs. the price point of any $400 extension easily laser cut and welded from cheap steel, and hopefully the value will be obvious...[/b] Here's a good shot of the Eco color. It's satin black w/ a fine texture. One of my favorites.

The install... If you're running a floorboard, this stock loop will need to be trimmed off... Using the front crossmember as a guide, TAKE YOUR TIME, and drill two holes using a 1/4" drill bit... DO NOT drill these oversize. You want a snug fit. Place the anchors into the counterbores. While your buddy holds the seat down firm, use a spare bolt to hammer the anchors in until the pins are flush. Assemble the frame snug, and use the rear crossmember as a drill guide. Again, using a 1/4" drill... Repeat the process in the rear... Bolt up using Loctite blue or similar, and ride.

Greg, the seat frame looks effing FANTASTIC! I do have a couple of questions: 1. Do you mind disclosing the height of the rider in the last photo? 2. Asides from not being able to flip open the seat any more, will the cross member that's installed interfere with opening the owners manual compartment? 3. I'd be willing to cold-weather test this frame in the chilly lands of Canada if you're willing to donate one! (no harm in trying! hahah) I imagine it's pretty irrelevant since the seat doesn't open. If you're installing one of these seats you'd probably take out the manual and keep it somewhere else, I just thought I'd ask.

I'm 6'3" with stock bars, I'm sort of curious as to what the riding posture would be like for a tall dude. mnnthbx wrote: 2. You can open that door no problem. Gnarly mnnthbx wrote: 3. I'll be glad to send you a free one. Shipping to Canada is $200 Touché!!! Well played, sir.

rustyriot wrote: Btw don't mount the seat with screws even temp, cause they loosen themselves up and that would suck balls if your seat came loose while riding. I tried this because I plan a getting it upholstered soon but on the way home from work today my seat got pretty loose, and the two front screws came completely out. A little scary going 55 when you're worried about your ass sliding off the bike. The fasteners that come with it go in easy, I didn't have help so I stood on the seat with one foot while I hammered them in. Worked pretty good. Seat frame is the shit! Really comfortable riding position, I'm about 5'10" so I think for taller riders it would be even better. oh yeah. Good heads up! Is this seat frame easily removable? For some of us with the stock seat that want to get it re-upholstered, would it be simple to remove the seat from the frame after installing it? and would there be problems re-installing the seat for a second time, or more?
