Honda 250 Scooters to enter a new Faze?

this may be old news but I thought the BR group might be interested?

The word is that Honda will release a new PGM/FI, 4 valve single cylinder 250cc scooter in NA for the 2011 model year,
meaning we may see it in early fall?

Looks nice... if you favor the UJM styling... which the BR will never be blamed for!

The more I look at it the better I like it........
the local dealer says they're coming.

I really like the dual frame setup and the floorboards.
It looks like a comfortable ride.

Best of all, the 249cc engine is fully tweaked out on this scoot......
4 valve, PGM/FI and according to the specs I've seen, it makes 30HP!!

That's 11 more HP than claimed for the BR and Reflex?!
Thats better than a 50% increase.

Best of all, IMHO, it's the perfect engine size for a highway scooter.....
easily cruise at the speed limit and still get 60-70mpg doing it. :banger:

It will probably cost $6000-7000.

BRed is probably right on the price...

Also it looks heavy, so I think that beast would struggle to get 70 mpg

too futuristic-looking for my taste. just don't like all the plastic. I like the 'working man' look of the BR better. However, I REALLY like the idea of the larger engine and more capability on the highway. would be nice to have a nice compromise between the BR and the FAZE.....keep most of the BR looks but add some modifications to make it a bit more aerodynamic....maybe a minimalist fairing (sp?) of some sort?
