Finding parts has been challenging, I've had to use three different shops to get basic wear and tear parts.

Started messing around with the fiberglass repair kit yesterday. It was my first time so I kind of made a mess but I learned a lot!

Thanks for the offer, I'd love to rock the Tanker helmet!... but I've sworn off all open face lids. I'm just so comfortable where everything is to have it all rearranged for me :lol:

Did some more work today and I've decided to ditch the existing dash cluster. The plastic work just isn't up to par, it just doesn't line up the way it's supposed to.

Anyone have any suggestions for a new gauge? I can always do a Veypor but I'd kind of like something different since I already have one on the Ruck.

hmm. i think it is a cool idea and you could do it up pretty nice if you wanted.
can you post a pic of the existing instrument cluster? it might help us brainstorm something up.

Here's what I'm picturing with a Veypor. Make a cover out of aluminum sheets and use the existing mounting points.

i was thinking the same thing only somehow mounting/hiding the veypor screen under the existing center gauge spot, thus maintaining the stock panel.
overall, in keeping with your proposed theme, what if you make it look like an A-10 warthog instrument panel.
