Because you're very very rarely going to find anything anywhere for less than $1000. OCCASIONALLY shitty stuff turns up... I've found one for $600 that barely ran and had missing parts and another for $250 that was stripped and not running. This was over 1 year. Anywhere from $700-$1k. I'm willing to fix one up. If not, I just gotta save up more cash and buy one brand new. As for that scooter store, Is that the one by the Goshen Market? Yeah, so you're looking for one in about the same condition I was. Buy 'em cheap and shitty, fix them up the way you want. Also, as a side note you could have Chelsea at Scoot Richmond keep an eye open for one for you. They'll get one or two in sometimes that weren't properly maintained... ie- no oil changes, and the engine is shot. Easy enough to buy another and swap it in. We rode today but seem to be having issues with either the battery life or something. We pulled over today and then went to ride somewhere else and my buddy's Ruck wouldn't start as if it had the lights on the whole time. So back in to the garage they go. There really isn't a consistent availability with us. Usually afternoon/ or into the evening we can be available. I personally haven't see a lot of other ruckus riders around Downtown or west end area. But we are open to riding with other riders. My sport bike and Harley friends don't want to ride with us anymore

But I always tell them know because alone my shit looks cool but next to a Harley it looks a little lame lol. There are a few of us on the east end that ride around here and sometime into the city. PM me your # and next time we are going to ride I will text you. As for your friends battery he might just need a new one. charge it up and take it to a autozone or somethign they can test it for you and let you know. If that isn't the problem you must have a draw somewhere.
