ok kiddies-updates!

after extensive trial & error, i decided the pe20 wasn't for me. filled up 4 pages of my notebook trying to dial in, but i'd rather ride(slower) than not at all. swapped back to stock, dropped a 90/42 in per jiangwayne's chart for a daytona exhaust, bike fired right up. go figure. occasional random sputter at higher rpm's but i'm hoping this is just a dirty spark plug issue. we shall see!

also, dropped a scooter ninja variator in with 6.5g weights MINUS THE WASHERS. i'll try to swap out some lighter ones at a later date. have some sliders as well, but it doesn't appear these SN's like them much. bike tops out right at 39-40 on flats, but definitely opens up quicker than the polini would. it feels somewhere between the immediate response the kn kikaku and the higher top end results of a polini. not anywhere near hitting the limiter, so i've got to find a hill somewherez...

rode for about an hour, great day out!! bike started cutting off(would cut right back on though and needed me to crack on the throttle at every light to stay alive). intake came off (don't skimp on small ass clamps people). front brakes still rubbing a bit, so back to spacing i go.

here's where i need someone to chime in: my integrated led brake light stays on - even when not engaged. turn signals work fine, well, the right one is slower to respond initially, but i checked the wires, unplugged each side separately, and they continue to stay on. wondering if the wiring in the new MC installed went bad. all fuses are good - any insight?

HID is draining the hell out of the ballistic battery, but damn it looks pretty! at the last stop of my ride today, bike was sluggish and electric start wouldn't work - so i had to kickstart it. if it runs at all for a bit, occasionally i start to get a whine out of it before it cuts out. a flip of the high/lo seems to fire it right back up though. wonder if there's a way to wire an on/off switch for it. otherwise i may have to ditch that project and go back to stock on that one as well - since i never ride at night anyway =(

rear fender still rubs the exhaust when i pounce on it...so more trimming is in store. i really like the look of the complete rear fenders, but it won't work with anything bigger than the yoshi or stock. but! on the good side, my homemade whitewalls came out better than expected.

oh and for your viewing pleasure...

I hate seeing other scoots (non-ruck) getting tricked out, because it makes me want to build one!

Also, sick build! I really dig the wheel/tire treatment, well done. :banger:

now that i got to ride her during Super Sunday - what a great time!!

so i'm thinking about selling her off or parting out...if anyone is interested. looking for about $23xx with mods, $1600 or so minus brakes, exhaust, wheels, polished cover, SN variator & HID.
