Can you post a pic of your IM, carb setup? I'm curious on your clearance to the front cross bar.
Thanks!

I have the filter angled on the carb a little so the filter wont hit the crossbar over bumps. Its close but doesnt hit.

Came to the conclusion today I don't like the forward facing carb. Even with the angled clocking flange it is angled to much by the time I adjust the float so I can adjust the idle fuel mixture screw to get the perfect idle mixture then float is adjusted so low I can ride for about 2mins at full throttle before I suck the bowl dry. Granted I can get it to idle pretty dam good with the float adjusted higher But its not 100% perfect. (little rich from it trickling a little fuel through idle circuit because the floats to high) But with the float higher I can run 15mins or so full throttle until it will start to cutout from lack of fuel.

Yes all connections are clamped and have no vacuum leaks. With float adjust to get a perfect idle mixture I can get my gy6 to idle so low it sounds like a hit and miss tractor motor.

I guess I got to figure out a way to level the carb better maybe making it rear facing or I might be able to mod the float needle spring allowing my to raise float and still not flood the carb at all.

Modded the float needle and now I dont run out of fuel at full throttle and have a perfect idle. Ported the carb and removed the auto choke. Now I am running a 36sj and a 102mj. Any bigger then a 102mj I actually bog the motor at full throttle. And with the ported carb I had to add a 6inch tube between the carb and filter to cut down on turbulence running the filter on the carb.

Motor mods:
6 degree advance timing key
Performance CDI
Aluminum intake with clocking flange ported both to match for no obstruction of flow
Removed autochoke and jbwelded the intake of carb to remove cutout for the auto choke
Ported carburator
36sj 102mj
NGk Plug
12.5g rollers
koso variatior
842 belt
1500 torque and clutch springs

ya i could. If you could get it centered up exactly where you want it. I could weld it for ya. If you plan on running fatty. You would have to bring the ruck with the stock get and harness off, your gy6, mojo mount, and wheel/tire combo for the rear. So i can make sure it is straight as an arrow.

Oh yea and a case of beer.

Well today i got bored and spent some money. Ordered the ruck some parts.

1.25 stainless tubing
Head gasket
Ncy stainless valves
Ncy valve springs
A9 cam from another member

I'm porting and polishing the head, removing the base gasket and using some Honda bond. So with the stainless valves and removing the base gasket i should pick up quite a bit of compression so no chance i will be running 87 octane with they 6*timing advance and a performance cdi too.
