Just picked up my Ruckus last weekend. 2007 with 2300 miles on it. Took it out on the road for the first time yesterday and it almost fells like youre riding a bonafied bicycle on the street lol. It was definitely fun and I cant wait to get with the local guys around here and start riding more often.

Day I got the ruck

Decided the seat frame needed major lowering so I started on that. Cut took a few measurements and then cut it up and tape tacked it back together to see how I liked it.

I bobbed the rear grab handle even with the seat and took almost all of the straight section out of the front. It looked ok but I decided to take all the straight out.

And this is how it sits right now.

I traded the camo box to dodgrr as to help preserve the urban camo battery boxes. Put a bmx stem on it with some drag bars and cant wait to get started on the fuel tank cover and the front suspension.

Im in ybor, but will be in channelside next month. Im on the florida ruckus riders facebook.

Just waiting on a new battery box but then this happened.

Got my seat mount done, now I just need to get the stretch mounts made. (160mm stretch)

Ok

Got the bracket in and everything looks to clear and fit fine. I need to get the jig together so I can square it up before welding it.

Also had an old dirtbike exhaust hangin around so I stubbed it and welded it up. Might paint it might polish it dont know yet.

looks good, but whats stopping that mount from pivoting? it dosent look like it goes up into the channel by the bushings

Its not finished yet, there will be a tube through the holes and another bracket that mounts to the cross brace under the seat frame.

I want to, trying to get it back together and tuned in the next week or so.

Got the bracket done and ruck is back on the ground...
