Hey,
Thanks for your help and insight! I was wondering what that naked, kinda long wire with a little...
pill like thing in the middle was. I'm guessing it is the 'adapter' top piggy back the spade
connection on the coil, or that other solution you mentioned.
The speed sensor looks like this:

And I weren't sure what the other tiny spacers and another bolt which looked suspicious just lying in
a tiny sealed plastic bag.
Yesterday, I also got the indicators work for the turn signals - the problem was that I connected the
wires from the speedo into the + on the turn signals, they were supposed to be connected to. (-) aka.
ground. Weird, but true.
By accident I found this, which may well help out anyone else trying to install this sensor system.

Not sure where we got permanent and switched power from though??
I found out that the permanent power to only make the clock show when the bike isn't running is by
connecting it straight to the (+) on the battery. The switched power should be connected to one of the
two wires coming out of the key ignition assembly (or w/e it's called), in my case it was the red with a
green line in it.
What about the low fuel sensor? Do I HAVE to get one of those Metro fuel sending units, or can it work
just like the original one on the bike?
