Post subject: ka0bit0â„¢ fuel injected gy6
PostPosted: Tue Mar 20, 2012 11:01 am
When I started planning for my build I had a clear vision how I wanted it to end up. I wanted something simple, clean, classy and different at the same time. I also didn't want it to have SO much going on that it leaves you not knowing where to start looking, but wanted to have a lot of small details to it.
I've gotten a bunch of pm`s asking is gy6 efi worth it. And in a nutshell yes and no. Yes, because it does away with the carb. And no because its being paired to a gy6 motor lol. If I had to do it again I'd have gone carb, gotten it running damn near perfect, THEN gone efi. Ecotrons ftw !....A huge shout to my nizzle jay aka brahdahood aka sensei for all his help with EVERYTHING.... :banger: can't thank the guy enough.

In the next couple of months my scoot will be getting torn down for a "rebuild" :army: ....should be interesting...so stay tuned 8)
Finished product.

Ahh, sweet, definitely subscribed. Has your thread title always been "gy6+efi"? If so, my bad on that question, I'm on my phone.

Are you planning on keeping it a stock 150 or you gonna build it up?

thanks....I actually went to about 4 places before I found one that would actually do it for me. I had to provide my own strap though...a few places tried with just the cheetah and no straps lol...

Actually changed the title when you asked...lol thx for that. I plan on keeping her 150 for the summer pending on how the efi setup goes. But when the season is up I'd like to take her apart and see where it goes. Def. something b case...and depending on what's available, forced induction of some sort :banger:

You are from NYC! Nice set up! May I ask where you got the wheel mounted because I want o find a place that know what they are doing.

I'm assuming you're from nyc too ?....nice. :banger: ....It's called 106 st tire. They have a few locations in queens. I went to the location on queens blvd. If you're mounting a stretched tire make sure you bring your own strap though, and as a precaution tape up the lip of the wheel.
