Well. It happened again. Melted it down. :headbashing:

Don't know how or why. According to the plug and cylinder I was right in the sweet spot. Thinking the piston I put in was just a bad apple. At any rate. It totaled the motor. So I'm out of the game until I can afford a new heart for the ruck. Shit happens eh?

Got the new motor today. Thinking something is fucky tho. The womans motor is acting up and pissing oil all over now. and i KNOW her motor is untouched and correctly tuned. Only thing that is common between my motor and hers is the oil were running. Previously I had always run mobile1 but we were given this stuff at an event this year and thought it looked to be decent stuff. Did I think wrong?

As far as I know Bel Ray is a good product.. I've been running AutoZone's oil but I change it allot.. Thinking on running Spectro or Amsoil but I would have run the Bel Ray in a second and for free.... But it is strange having problems with her motor to..

yea idk man. ive never heard of that brand to be honest......been in the auto industry everyday for 8 years now :meh:

id go back to mobil 1 cuz thats some good shiiiii and see what happens.

i knoe gy's are sensitive to oil i have heard.

i plan to change my gy oil every 500 miles and run a little lucas conventional oil stabilizer in it every time. and run 10w-40 shell conventional motor oil.

let us know what you find out tho........

It was the oil for sure. Her motor gave the same syptoms as my other 2 motors and her piston is burned up just the same.

Her piston is the bottom right. its scored like that all the way around. Luckily her wrist pin wasnt seized and it looks like Ill be able to replace the top end of her motor and it should be ok. This oil is the ONLY common thread between all 3 motors.

Image

That was an expensive lesson learned and back to mobil1 10-40 and lucas I go. All motors ran fine up until we changed the oil. Then within 400 miles all 3 blew. Coincidence? I think not! :headbashing:
