Thats my other option as well as a jemco race pipe. the jemco goes under the frame- eating up my ground clearance, and the slip-on looks too ebay. The stocker's actually rusted out and makes a good boom, that, and I dont have to mess with the jetting. I kept the passenger pegs too just in case, and the one on the right is the exhaust support. For now the stock pipes the best option, and its already on the bike.
I think the SR mags are classic. A set from yamaha new, today, is about 2k. The new models are all spokes. I talked to some people about sending me a sr400 fron hub, but changing wheels is a bitch in the long run. It's almost better to get a bike with wheels you like. Just shows its a 70's bike tho. Now mags on anything make me sick as well haha. Like a sportster, gross. Any kawisaki, gross. Those jacked comstar wheels that honda did, Id never buy a bike with comstars, absolutely terrible. I'm just letting this thing turn out the way it wants. It's been a pretty cheap build so far, as opposed to ordering every bolt-on chopper part from japan. I'd say I have about 2k into it+ reg and ins.
