I actually chopped 4 inches off of the seat frame and all of the rear mounts. Nobody replied before I started to chop it so I just winged it. Your gonna need an angle grinder to make it a clean floater, or find a friend with a welding machine to re-attach the rear mounts. I like how it turned out but I'm over on how Ghetto and DIY it looks :p I didn't do a good job

Your seat frame actually looks all right. Yeah that guide said chop off 2 inches and all of the rear mounts. I don't mind it floating like that if it doesn't bend.
If it turns out shitty I guess i'll buy a new one

I don't mind the look of it, I just want to weld those bits back on so it looks more "complete" atleast in the time I wait for those MNNTHBX seat frames to get back in stock.

The frame itself has never bent though, nor can I feel it move.

Got my seat frame lowered. Mistake was that I was too lazy to cover the rest of the stuff i was grinding/cutting now there are some scratches.
I think i will paint it again. Do I just use ordinary auto spray paint?
