Kevin: I see you put the rear fender back on. Cops razzin' you about having no rear fender? Just wondering 'cause I'll have to come up with something soon if I do. My Ruck's almost at the point that I'll be satisfied riding it full time, and I don't want to be hastled by the fuzz. Image

Still have to:
Relocate Ruckus style smoked sequential tail under seat. (Should have fab'd one up befor I shaved the tail....in the works).
Silence the MNNTHBX GP1 exhaust better (got the used one off of bazinga as a back-up)
Wire in the LED licence bolts
touch-up paint.
Re-jet pilot jet (ordered one online)
.....and a bunch of little things. This is going to be a constant project this summer.

I don't think he's had any problems with no fender, the cop last night never said anything to me about no fenders. Me and kev are just making huggers!

How many exhausts do you have Anthony?

and that's exactly why I won't run my plate vertically - it is definitely not legal and definitely attracts way too much attention from the po-po that I do not need... also why I have LED plate screws for night... the less illegal the better for this cat - especially since my Ruck is already technically illegally registered as a moped and the exhaust is louder than sin... no more attention needed.

on the plus side my shock is FINALLY f$#@ing sent... perhaps it will get here before June :pissed: NEVER again....

Too many....

1. Stock
2. Jiang Wayne Zoomer 1 (short)....which I just haven't got around to putting on Kijiji yet (still unused).
3. MNNTHBX GP - Which is WAY TOO LOUD!! But this is what I want to run as my main exhaust if I can figure out how to make it quieter.
4. a NCY exhaust I bought used off of bazinga (Marie) as back-up. Still LOUD, but would pass the test if the cops ever pulled me over.

Yah I'm going to mount the plate sideways again, I don't want to get a ticket for that.

But that will be done after I am finished carving up the front fender!

MOPED. Everytime someone calls my Ruck that I just want to say "do you see a mother-f**king pedal anywhere?". I'm tempted to mod an old BMX pedal on to the kick-start just to be politically correct.

does it start at all, or just try to turn over but wont?
there's a few things to tinker with... assuming it's getting fuel.

yeah it starts but as soon as I let go of the throttle it dies.
What could it be? I can't start it with the choke lever down i need it up for it to start also

The front fender is going well, I bought hose clamps that are just a little to small so I needs to go grab new ones. But boy does this front fender look gorgeous now!

Yeah I could do that :) How about tomorrow, I've got nothing to do.

Here's a little mock up of the rough shape for now, not being mounted tonight though. I think I'm going to paint it blue like the frame.

Nope. I thought you would lose top end if you went to a straight pipe, or is that open header that I'm thinking of? ...and I'm not buying another one. So don't ask. LOL Why the change of heart? I thought the 2bros was a decent exhaust? I only dropped the Jiang Wayne 'cause I was inspired to go a little more retro.

The MNNTHBX is a decent exhaust. Light as a feather, but it will make your ears blead if you rode next to me. Would be kinda funny to be the first "moped" to get fined by the po-po....but not $250 funny. :wc_flag:

^--sample
This is a similar look to what my finished product will be. (No fatty or "rising sun
radiator cover)...sorry no pic as of yet.

Nope, I didn't get a ticket. I just ran it up and down the alley behind my place a couple of times to test it out. My neighbour thought it sounded like a Harley. Deep and loud. Gonna try and mod up a plug similar to a DB Dawg to cut the noise down a bit. For now I'm running the NCY one I bough used off Marie.
