White zoomer, stock, Elephant and Castle Roundabout heading towards London Bridge, had a quick chat at the lights.

Drop me a PM and i'll point you in the right direction re: Mods. :banger:

Hi Bishop,

It was me just signed up to this site and finding my way around..
Had my Zoomer from new, 2 1/4 years.. I've racked up 5000 slow but happy miles.. bout time I started thinking about speeding her up..

What have you done, as you were pretty quick.. and didn't sound too loud.. all new exhausts I've seen about town are very loud..

Cheers

T.

Firstly T.

Now thats out the way.

There are many ways to drag a few more MPH out of the old girl.

1: Variator - Should achieve around 34 with this option alone
2: New tyre - Apart from thew fact that the Kenda's in the we will probably give way and see you sprawled across the road on wet days, boppers or conti-twists will add an extra 2-3 mph (Running tyres at the right PSI will get 1mph alone)
3: Airbox - Take the brick of an OEM arifilter out and fit a standalone filter to get 1-2 mph and a noise from the girl
4: CDI - This will take the limited from 6000 rpm (I think the UK ones are limited to that) up to 8500 rpm (Allowing you to add loghter weights given a better take off from standing and more rpm for more mph - 3-4 mph extra.

At the mo I am getting 40 on the flat and 44-46 on the downhill before the limiter kicks in.

Another day, another zoomer.......... (Am I the only one playing this game?)

Red Stock 10 plate Zoomer, parked in the Cycle bay at the end of Bread Street junction with Cannon Street.

Had the helmet on a plastic bag chained to the frame.

Saw three parked up in Soho today! Two red ones together (one was covered in cable ties) and a white one that I think had some camo work.

Anyone on here? :D

I wish there were more, well, to buy anyway! One on eBay ends tomorrow. If I'm lucky, I'll be the proud owner of my very own little baby Zoomer next week. But then it's an eBay buy so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

If you do get it, you could ask someone who knows about zoomers to come give it a look over to make sure what you're buying is alright... if it's down in London you could ask ZD maybe, or bishop... if it's near me I'll come have a look with you although I probably don't know as much as some people :P
