Regarding EUC2011.
I was under the impression that its making the desition of when and where that has brought silence on our
discutions. No one wants to go though all the trouble again of getting that started again.
That is why in the tradition of Progress, I thought to suggest that we just keep it as it is and
make, and keep EUC on the first week-end of August.
As for where, well we might as well keep that as it is too and make it: One year on the island and the
next year on the continent.

Never, I've already put a lot of Euro's in the Zoomer this spring, so that's where it went... Something to do with a crankshaft. And the Yoshi stays! :D Belgium is a better option, 'couse it's drivable, and I can sleep in Zeeland at my best friends house, and be home on Sunday. Still like to go to my own church and be home on Sundays.

So guys has there been any head way on this?

I'd be well up for belgum. I'd be well up for anywhere but I think we need to sort something soon as it's may and it's only 3 months away and people need to budget and make plans.

My feeling is that us UK riders decided to goto Holland last year it should let the Dutch decide where they want to go this year. If they want to go to Brussels then I guess we follow them there. Is there any one that know what the french riders are doing? How good would it be to have three country's involved. And if the Irish guys can come over that would be amazing!
But I'm probably the most flexible out of everyone where we go so don't really want to call it.

I'm keen to set a date that we can use every year. The first weekend of august works for me.

Is there someone that can head over to the Dutch site and check out what there chat is?

Wel I think its safe to say its going to be held here, in the UK.
From what I understand on the Dutch forum theyre doing a much bigger tour than Eurocon. Eurocon is just the last leg of thier trip.
Theyre planning to go Holland, Belgium, France, Dover follow the south coast to Lands-End and then make thier way to London for Eurocon, before they head home again.
Word was for the first weekend in August.

Cant seem to be able to close my poll thread out, but yes for us Brits the Eurocon will be here in Blighty.

Now we need to work on dates and location.

With the above info, it sounds like we should be at the mercy of the Dutch who are planning an awesome trip around Europe.

If our European Cousins are indeed making the trip it sounds like we could do a mini meet in say Brighton for a day and then another one in London for thier return leg.

Any Crazy Cloggies confirm the plans? :vondutch:
