Sorry all, I am definately out
1stly I am locked down on the family holiday to Greece during this time - need to work out whether I am taking Euros or Drachma 2ndly Engine swap still has not happened and I have no free time to get it done prior.
For those who are going, I think the Zoomers (Dust and Dude) and Bear are the only confirmed, have a top time

EXCELENT NEWS!!!
Eurocon is officially on the first weekend of August. But, my wife and myself usually leave at 2:00am on the Monday morning, then we go live with her parents till the Firday moring when we drive down to Kamerik where EUC is held. We stay at the workshop till the Sunday moring and leave from there back to the ferry that leaves at 14:30 back to Harwich. So you are welcome to ride over with us or make your own way, the choice is yours. You will have to arrange for sleeping space for yourself depending on where what you decide...
Workshop adress:
Funmotors Ad Nap Mijzijde 155 3471 GV Kamerik Tel: 0031 (0) 6-46266555

Around twenty Dutch one Belgian and two English Zoomers have signed up for the 2012 Eurocon ride and BBQ.
If you have plans for this event ... let us know on time so we can purchase enough food and drink for the BBQ.
Cost for the BBQ are: 15 euros p.p.

Odd question, I'm looking at prices, what is the difference in their eyes between motorcycle and bicycle? >.<
Edit: would like to know, but not serious since I found out you can't use a CBT in the rest of euro oh well, it's a good job it's one of my aims by the end of the year.

Is that true about the CBT in Holland? That's not good as that's what I've got! Can any of the Dutch guys given me any advice i.e. if it is true is it worth taking the risk?

My wife has done EUC twice now on a CBT and she has had no issues at all. The dutch guys did reccomend that she remove her "L" plates while there... Simply because we are riding in a group and there are some erm not-so-****al bikes between them and the L-plates would just draw unneeded attention.
Plus to confirm, this is from the Dutch authorities:
Geachte heer Naude,
You asked the Question: "To who it may concern... I am currently planning a trip to the Netherlands and am leagally allowed to ride a motorcycle of up to 125cc. I was wondering if you can tell me if I can use this in the Netherlands? The papers I hold are known as a "Provisional Licence" with Compulsary Basic Training (CBT)." Antwoord: As a tourist you can ride a motorcycle up to 125cc in the Netherlands. Your license has to be a valid one. Met vriendelijke groet,
