I was fortunate to pick up this met for 500 back in November
It ran well as stock but was def in need of aesthetic repair and a bigger engine

I am in the final stage of my build but id like to post some pictures of my progress.

Killer mount!

Will you take a picture of the mount from the top/above? Im curious as to how you got that to fit. I had to use a PWJDM one for my swap

Bust out the grinder and get busy






If anything, you just have to bend the bottom left ear a little bit til it touches the crossframe, then drill the holes

The extension the killer mount gave created a useless top shock location, so fab was required

At 6' need a little leg room, these pegs should help

BTW, the PWJDM pegs and kickstand fit perfectly, the body panels fit cleanly over it, except the bottom splash guard,

Very nice indeed! Clean work on the motor and shock mounts. I'm interested to see how it all looks put together with the bodywork.

The under seat storage is going to have tp be completely cut up right?

Today was a successful friday for the most part

Tucked the atr harness and accessories



Repainted plastics and gloss, lots of wetsanding today.


Still working on my tail light mount
the camera was on a bad setting for a bit












The last thing to do is bleed the brakes. so everything is coming off again so i dont spill on the plastics

It does, but i will make something to fit over the holes

Picked up a gs variator, 12 grams better than 14,
and new slow jets for the keihin pe24
the slow jet that was in the carb was a 55!!
I started with a 45 yesterday, runs better, but another drop in will clear it up
i think it can drop to 40, possibly 38, because its still running rich, it is only 150cc, no bb.

Riding in this SoCal weather is always tits.

Wire acewell gauge and met sending unit, just waiting to purchase a ruckus resistor, mets dont have them.
Mount acewell speedometer magnet and pickup, wont fit on the front, found a spot on the back.

You could Fiberglass the under seat storage area inside, and then plasti Dip it. If done right, I'm sure you could make it look pretty OEM.

So whats up with calling a pilot jet a "slow" jet?
See that a lot on this forum.

There are many articles and websites that use those terms interchangeably.
Another term for it is idle jet. Just matters on preference
