It would be easy enough to make a cf bodied Met. It would cost way more than it's worth though. There is probably more material in a Met legshield than all the plastic combined on a Ruck!

Im friends with the owner of VIS which makes CF hoods and car parts in CF. Its well over $1500 just for molding process for something like that.

its not cheap.

You are correct sir. The product I sell is cf and we still have a cf shop on site, although now it is used exclusively for reproducing body panels for new and vintage sports cars that the molds are no longer available for or haven't been produced yet. The cost is in the time to produce the molds. Here is a pic of the old Group 44 Jaguar that raced in IMSA competition back in the late 80's. The front end was destroyed in a accident by the current owner who is racing it in a vintage series. While it looks relatively simple, the cost to produce the new front end was well over 50k.

Like anything, setup costs weigh a ton compared to end product supply costs. You'd have to crank out a ton of them to make it worthwhile, and then how many people will want expensive carbon fiber bodies.moreover, the weight savings will be almost negligible and cheaper to wrap in vinyl.
