I rode with my neighbor for a bit on Saturday evening, but I spent most of the day yard selling, mounting the fatty, and re-jetting/changing oil on the Ruck.

Brendan, Adam, Ryan (Akers4prez), and I rode today though. My vary spit a roller out of the back and wedged it in high-gear... I was still faster than Brendan though.

I need any spare GET valve shims!!!! Need an adjustment, and before I blindly order some different sizes for $6+ a pop, hoping we can swap.

Pop the valve cover off, remove the shims, measure them with a caliper/micrometer, put them back in, then shove a feeler gauge in and see how much slack you have. I have a caliper and feeler gauges if you need them.

Queston for those that have lowered your ruckus, what front forks did you go with? Or, did you modify the stock ones?

I have modified my NCY "Dio's" . Rides good but theres a little front end slop. (I don't pop wheelies so I don't care LOL)

I don't know if any of you guys/gals have been out to the bi-weekly Cars & Coffee Meet that was held at Starbucks off of Hugenot Road before, but that event has now been moved to Stoney Point Fashion Park. I rode out there on the ruckus yesterday morning and it was a nice little ride on a great morning. Lot's of nice cars, and an adult participation level. I was thinking this would be a nice meeting place for us ruckus/scooter riders to meet up at also. I'm free almost always before 3pm or after 5ish, just gimme a ring, Anyone wanna get their lines wet and hit the river when the water goes back down, maybe catch something and grill it right there.
BTW RIDE PROPOSAL!!! Sometime in july I want to set up a ride out to osbourne landing and one or two other fishing spots for a day fishing riding and hopefully some catching and cooking! lemme know if your interested and i will come up with some further details, times and places.

Im down for all that but will not be partaking in the fish from that part of the James.
