Did the stock airbox mod today...
Removed the stock airbox and added the K&N filter setup.
My original jetting was 35PJ/75MJ
Switched it to 40PJ/78MJ
Did not add the shim.

My old top speed on flat ground was 42MPH
I'm now getting 44MPH.
Everything went smooth.
No weird idle issues...no hesitations...no sputtering.
I can't believe how much faster I can get it up to the top speed now...damn!

Very happy with the results.

So i was doing our weekly shopping last night about 10pm in safeway in gresham. When i walked in to grab a cart, i spotted this little guy.....hard to see but it had a head strap red led for a tail light. LOL.....

I had a red one of those in colorado. I picked it up from an auto parts store for $175. 97cc but did 15mph. the throttle didnt even engage til you twisted 3/4s, so we tightened that way up and it hit about 25-28. it used to suck oil through the air filter like crazy though. i dont know if it was overfilled or just riding it hard or what. but i rode it to work all summer and used to jump it in a field across the street from my house til i cracked the frame (no suspension). i sold it in february when i went back to visit. it didnt start, it needed the carb cleaned and a new plug. that little bike is what helped inspire me to get my ruckus
