unplugged indicator and it didnt blow a fuse! (so far)

So whats this mean? That the problem was somewhere between the plug for indicator and the actual indicator itself?

OR does it mean that the problem can be anywhere the indicator just freed up enough power so when the actual problem happens it dosnt blow the fuse?

Fortunately the problem will be specifically in the indicator assembly itself, not elsewhere. I recommend removing the indicator bulb to inspect the plug and pins. If the pins look ok, replug the indicator assembly back into the harness (without the bulb). See if it pops another fuse, and let us know your findings.

HTH!

What all is in that switch I unplugged, if I just leave it unplugged what will not be working?

How do I get to that indicator light?

Btw its a metro.

So my high beam indicator is unplugged, went to start up after a 2ish hour cruise (of no issues) and one of my fuses blew (the normal one that always blows) and then after I replaced that and let my scoot chill for a handful of hours while I was at a fire, then 2 fuses blew.

:/

I ended up putting in the new fuses, and everything BUT my headlight would work. Then on way home the fuses blew again and even my tail lights went out.

Chris, can you post a picture of which fuses are blowing? and of the switch plug that you're referring to?

On a metro fuse box (not sure if its same as a ruckus) you have the fuses on the spare fuse side, then 2 more that are verticle then 1 one which is horizontal, it blows the only horizontal one on far left (sometimes one before that)

I unplugged the indicator plug, and the main one before it all which are in the metro frotn plastic under headlight area right by horn. (just so I dont blow anymore fuses untill I get this fixed)

Unplugged headlight and the main connector went fine entire trip but then needed a headlight so plugged it in and it blew a fuse, friend took a 25amp fuse outta his car and put it in and I got whole way home with no issues (15minutes) but then again I went 15minutes on the 15amp fuse it just happens randomly, but we will see how this goes he said it could melt my wiring which would actually be kinda nice cuz then I would atleast know where its coming from.
