Hey guys,

Back when the V125 was a new hot product, Yamaha made a molded cup holder that screwed right into the back of the legshield, in fact the legshield is molded for it and even has mounts where the screws from the cup holder would go. I can't seem to fin done ANYWHERE on the web, does anyone know of a source that has them? Is there a TNG/Schwinn knockoff that fits that's available somewhere? I'm not really interested in mounting up a wire-frame one like from a mountain bike or the fabric one from Scooterswest, I may like to put more than just a drink in there, like a spare set of keys or a small item purchased at a store etc. Any help would be appreciated in this arena.


Also, what other easy-access storage solutions have you guys used? The under-seat storage is okay, but its a lot less grab-and-go than I would like. Thanks in advance. Pictures of anything you have implemented would be great.

Try Japan? The US doesnt get any cool parts nor do they know about them or give a crap.

I hear that! Scooterswest USED to carry them (probably for ~ $1M USD) but I can't seem to scrounge one up anywhere.

If you find out let us know. Ive been wanting a cupholder!

Not sure where you guys live, but there's a store in the Bay called Diaso. There's a few around town and it's basically a Japanese dollar store. Higher quality stuff than the American ones. I don't have a pic, but they had some stuff that could fit on the footwell screw.

Contacted StooerWest about the one that they offered (but is NLA) and they said that they sold a TNG Milano molded cupholder that fit right into the vino legshield, but that they can't get them anymore. I've hunted up a whole gaggle of TNG (and other similar branded) scooter dealers but none seem to have the part available anymore.

I'll keep looking, but casually.

Still no luck trying to find one of these cup holders/trays. This is a pic of a Chinese vino 125 knockoff that has the exact part I want. I've been told that the ones from the vino clone is a direct bolt on for the Yamaha unit. I just wanted to update this post with a pic so there was no confusion. I know I could rig up _A_ cup holder, but what I'd really like to find is this exact part.

I've been told that Scooterswest would sell the one sfrom a TNG milano and it would directly bolt onto the Vino - not sure if your scooter is a TNG or not. If you have some pics of how its mounted etc, i'd really appreciate them! Plus, your scooter looks great, love the lowering job / wheels - so yeah...I'd like some more pics to inspire me on lowering and customizing my own.

dang son! that looks like EXACTLY what I want! and I think for $25 shipped, its worth the risk. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

This item arrived last week and I've been meaning to get back and post up the straight dope about it.

Its the real deal. This is the part you need to add the OEM style cup holder to your vino. Mine arrived dusty, unpackaged and without mounting hardware, which is sort of lame. Its in good shape, but for at least a moment I worried it was a used part. Anyway, it fits flawlessly when held into position. Of course, as others have mentioned, you have to relocate the fuel gauge to make full use of it, but it looks pretty awesome. Can't wait to mount it up.
