That particular rad hose must flow really well. A 38/92 seems to work great (90 mj wasn't cutting it). This is on the Yosh exhaust, that doesn't flow much better than the stocker...

I wish I could get some price break on all the pieces and sell them complete. Makes a nice rig...

I have no data to prove anything, but it's a tricket part I have no real reason to sales pitch either... All my experience (mostly on other forms of motorsports) has always shown a longer intake tract to provide better flow. My personal experience on this ruck shows a 92 main is the minimum I'd want to run, so (in my opinion) yes, it flows better...

I would love this as a complete kit and would buy the whole thing from you if you put it together.
But I also don't mind buying just your bracket and then pulling the pieces together myself. Could you simply list all the parts and part numbers for this setup?

Essentially what are the specs and/or part numbers for the following items:
- Radiator Hose
- K&N Main Filter
- K&N Breather Filter(s)
- Hose Clamps
- Optimum Main and Pilot Jet Sizes

Thanks!!

This is by far the best flowing intake system I have yet to try! This hose flows incredibly well. I had to richen my mixture 1/2 turn from my previous " snorkel" setup with the same filter.

I did however have to trim 1/2" off the carb end to clear the stock fender. I have about 3/8" clearance afterward.

What is the dimension of the mount from hole centers? The reason I ask is because after trimming the 1/2" off the hose it moves the hose farther forward. When I sit on the scooter I have almost zero clearance with the suspension compressed. If I was to use this mount I'm almost certain the frame will come down on the hose and bend the mount?

I noticed the ruckus shown has a shock extension installed and it appears to have a ton more clearance than I have on mine not sure if that's the reason or not?

I appreciate the time you spent to find this. 8)

I'm actually testing a 95 main this week...

Hole to hole, it's about 2.75".

Unable to find the hose in Canada. Or I'd totally buy the bracket from you.

I dont see why its so hard to source the hose and filter. It took me about 10 minutes to order each online and then a few days later it was at my doorstep.

Greg, I'm running a 38/85 and I was thinking of bumping the MJ up a bit so i think tomorrow I will try going to a 92 as you mentioned.

And thanks for the speedy shipping on the Dorf, Dingleberry, and Turtlehead for my other ruck. You are a great guy to do business with. A credit to this community...

It does increase the flow of air quite a bit. I had my filter on the carb, and then bought this mount and picked up the hose listed here. No problem finding the hose at all. The intake mount / hose looks awesome and is really sturdy. This is not some cheap crap.

I've been too busy to rejet, but I need to because of the increased air flow. Hopefully I'll be able to this weekend.

If you are getting rid of the stock airbox, buy this mount and pick up the hose. Having the part number for the hose saves you hours of trying to find one that works.

Great to hear it's working well for you guys. For what it's worth, the 90 & 92 mains feel all but identical in my own Ruck...

The hose is easy for you guys to find in the US. Not so in Canada.

The Autozone website doesn't allow registration outside of the US.
