Post subject: leo vince exhaust silencer
PostPosted: Sun Jun 17, 2007 8:30 am
I got my leo vince exhaust yesterday. When i reseved it i was pretty happy to see its a great product. Well after putting it on I look a few runs up and down the street with and with out the silencer in the muffler. I didnt really notice a diffrence in power between it being in or out. Just without it, it sounded deeper, and in more high pitch.
What do you peoples think in your situation? Did you notice any diffrence with or without it in? just curious to see what people say :)

naw it looks ok..and its the best it ever ran..i had the 85..n it wuz ehh..the 90 helped but she still had a sputter..and the 95 is the king i guess..shes very responsive with no sputter anywhere along the line. it doesnt bog out at all she just keeps going..but the plug looked fine when i check after a run down the road

stock intake? u mean the big restrictive black box with a k&n? imo thats pointless and dumb..ur just making something SUPER RESTRICTIVE less..u know..i would just got with a filter on the stock intake tube outta the box..thats wut im running..and also i took out the baffle, spark arrester wutever u wanna call it outta the leo too...i thought it sounded like a stock xr250.. :? pretty gay..i seen the screw..took it out and now i sound like my pit bike..a klx110 with a bbr d-sector on it..sounds just alike BADASS  but with the filter tube and leo im runnin the 95..if u got the leo with the baffle in it and u got that stock shit.. then yeah a 85 MAYBE a 90 should work just fine..

Ok well i don't want to change my stock airbox or intake system yet. I bought the bike with the leo exhaust and took it off and back on. I like it but my bike lags in the beginning and then picks up. I just changed my belt also and it help reach 45 on flat. Do i have to change the stock airbox for a new intake system? what jets to use with stocker?

i find that messing witht he idle mixture screw does wonderes for the low end!

get the tool, and start turning that screw untill you find a good spot!!!

you may have to re-jet, but that doing the above would be a step in the right direction
