http://www.ebay.com/itm/Integrated-LED- ... 097wt_1105i just bought this r6 taillight, and I was wondering is this different than the one Drowsports sells? I'm going to buy batman's bracket and put it on but I heard that some taillights on ebay don't work sometimes. But I had 6 ebay bucks and it only cost me 4 dollars w free shipping and had to buy it. What else do I need to install it besides the light and bracket?

What else do I need to install it besides the light and bracket? Yes cause this one is cheap as hell, i can tell by looking at it. It will probably function for awhile then crap out. I had the drowsports one and it actually feels and looks good, and performed well. (It also has sequential signals)

jockingjlee wrote: i figured 4 dollars for the R6 taillight + 16 dollars for batman r6 bracket=20 dollars 20 dollars > 120 dollars for Drowsports kit Wish I had seen this when it was first posted. However, allow me to retort. 20 dollars > 120 dollars for DROWSports kit that comes with a bracket, hardware, instructions on how to install and program the light, support with a real, live person, and you support a small business. Is that $20 ebay sourced light really greater than the service we provide because we don't just sell parts, guys. We actually try to help you when you are in need. Good luck with that Ebay store, which only accepts returns 3 days after your receive it. We do offer a 30 day warranty on ours. I also believe that one is not sequential (they don't list it as such, anyhow), either, where as the "$120" one is. Our non-sequential, Econony R6 is $79.99 + shipping, so roughly $90-100 and you still get our support, hardware, brackets, and warranty. It's just not sequential and there is some extra wiring that needs to be done.

jockingjlee wrote: Ummm. im sorry. i dont mean to bash your business but I feel like you are way over charging for this light. This ebay light is sequential and it works perfectly. Ive had it for about 2 months and have had no problems with it. And I feel like you're trying to bash this ebay seller so people buy your light. If you look in the pictures and description I believe it says it is sequential and it has 5 wires which indicate that it is sequential. The non-sequential light only has 3 wires. And who needs your support to put this light on when we have all of TR for support. And this light install is super easy. I don't think your support is worth 100 extra dollars, when you can just ask anyone on TR.
If anyone wants to buy this ebay r6 taillight I believe the seller relisted it for 20 dollars. probably because so many people have been buying them after I posted about it on here.
and if you want to install it just buy the light. a bracket from batman on Total Ruckus. and go to auto zone buy a lf12 flasher relay.
that is all you need.
installation takes about 25-35 mins. No, just trying to defend our business and point out the things we offer versus what the ebay store would offer. Not directed towards you, anyone or even the ebay store in particular, however, I do have some right to point out the differences and defend our business. Both of our sequential and non-sequential lights have five wires. That may be an indication on other lights, but not ours. Again, I read through the description, twice, and saw no indication on if it was sequential or not, just that it has integrated turn signals. I also want to make sure we are on the same page, sequential by our definition on our light is referring to the pattern the turn signals light up. Our sequential starts from the center and lights a row of amber LEDs until it reaches the left or right most part of the tail light depending on which turn signal you are flashing. It also will flash the brake light LEDs quickly before staying solid on. Our Non-Sequential refers to all of the amber LEDs lighting up for a turn signal for the appropriate side. As far as "who needs my support," there are people who need a live person to guide them step-by-step. Sometimes, it's actually faster to call us than wait for someone on TR to respond. No, this isn't the case all the time and I realize that. We are also able, most of the time, to have your light kit to you in 3-5 business days depending on where you live. That particular Ebay store has it to your door in 9-14 days. Yes, we charge for shipping, but at worst case you will pay $10. A recent East Coast customer purchased one and his shipping charge was around $6.00 via USPS. So, that $120 is still a little more than what the typical customer would pay for it. It would be more like $112, but that correction is neither here nor there. You also get everything all at once instead of having to shop several stores, so there is time and possibly some money saved by having a kit pieced together for someone ready to be installed. There are people who like the convenience of a having everything in one shot. Both of our kits also come with resistors so that you don't have to use a LED Flasher relay, if you don't want to.
